Cari, a nurse, and David, an anesthesiologist, met at Grand Strand Hospital. They dated a year and half and then David proposed at Brookgreen Gardens. They were legally married in August 2010, but wanted to have an intimate ceremony with a pastor marrying them in front of family and friends. This tropical island-like paradise took place on October 15, 2011 with perfect 80 degree weather at Ocean Palms Beach House on 50th Ave North, Myrtle Beach and included Cari’s kids. Décor included flowers from Ecuador, Southeast Asia, and Hawaii!
